The 30-day Youth Pass is a single fare of 10 euros, after applying current discounts* on the current fare of 20 euros. It is valid for all fare zones (travel from Zone A to Zone E2) and until the age of 26.
With this, young people can travel throughout Madrid for a fairly affordable price, and can use all the means of transport offered by the Multi card.
What is the Multi transport card?
The Multi Public Transport Card is a contactless card that holds non-personal tickets for the Community of Madrid’s public transport fare system.
Nature and expiration
This is a rechargeable, multi-person card with a validity of ten years.
Warranty
The Multi Public Transport Card has a three-year warranty, during which time the user is entitled to a free replacement of defective cards, provided the damage is not due to misuse.
How to access this rate?
Those who do not yet have a Public Transport Card can apply for one online (they will receive it at their home within a week of applying) or in person at the Public Transport Card Administration Offices (by making an appointment by calling 012 or visiting webttp.comunidad.madrid). The cost of issuing the card is €4.
In what means of transport can I use the Multi Madrid card?
With the Multi Card you can use the Metro network, the Renfe Cercanías, the EMT urban buses (except the Airport Express) and other intercity bus lines in the Community of Madrid.
Does this mean I can travel on different modes of transport with my youth pass?
Yes, your youth pass will allow you unlimited travel on these modes of transport for 30 days from the time you top up. Remember that you must top up your pass monthly with €10 to enjoy this benefit.
